Higher Education Commission (HEC)

The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan is an independent, autonomous, and constitutionally established institution of primary funding, overseeing, regulating, and accrediting the higher education efforts in Pakistan.The commission also facilitated the development of higher educational system in the country with main purpose of upgrading the universities and degree awarding institutes in the country to be focal point of the high learning of education, research and development. MIUC Islamabad is accredited and approved teaching institute by Higher Education Commission (HEC)

Lahore Board

Since the emergence of Pakistan on the map of the world, the examinations pertaining to the Matriculation and Intermediate level were conducted under the aegis of University of the Punjab. However, through the promulgation of the Punjab University Act (Amendment) Ordinance 1954, the Board of Secondary Education, Punjab was established in the province which took from the said University control of examinations of Secondary, Intermediate and Pakistani & Classical Languages. The first-ever examination for these stages was conducted in the year 1955.

Federal Board

The Federal Board of Intermediate &Secondary Education (FBISE) Islamabad established under FBISE ACT 1975, is an autonomous body of Ministry “Federal Education and Professional Training” . It is empowered with administrative and financialauthority to organize, regulate, develop and control Intermediate and Secondary Education in general and conduct examinations in the institutions affiliated with it.

Rawalpindi Board

Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Rawalpindi is a government agency whose main object is to conduct examinations of SSC and HSSC and declare their results.

Abbottabad Board

BISE Abbottabad came into being as a result of the break-up of Peshawar Board in 1990 under the North West Frontier Province Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Act 1990. It is working in its own building on Murree Road , Abbottabad. Due to increase in work load on matric section, the conduct section has been divided into two separate sections. Conduct 1 to deal with matric and conduct 2 to deal with intermediate. A printing section has also been created for printing of question papers.

Gujranwala Board

Establishment The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education was established under the Punjab Boards of Intermediate & Secondary Education Act 1976 and its jurisdiction was notified on 14th October, 1982 whereas it started its functions by conducting its first secondary school (Supplementary) in 1983.
