Former Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry

Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Former Chief Justice of Pakistan, served as the 20th Chief Justice of Pakistan, over three non-consecutive terms from 29 June 2005 to 11 December 2013.
He has served the judiciary for about 24 years. Initially, he was appointed as judge of the Balochistan High Court in Quetta in 1993, where he was further appointed as Chief Justice of the High Court in 1999. There forward, he was elevated to be judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and subsequent thereto, he was elevated to become the Chief Justice of Pakistan in June 2005.
In this capacity, he struggled for implementation of rule of law and sustenance of supremacy of the Constitution against the military dictators, and ultimately succeeded in ensuring the rule of the Constitution against the presiding dictator, who was ruling the country against the constitutional provisions but had to give up consequently.

Afshan Ghazanfar, Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan

Mrs Anjum Afshan Ghazanfar is an advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan. She has been practicing law for over 29 years. She has worked with Attorney General office and remained as Assistant Advocate General, Punjab from “2003 to 2009” and conducted number of cases before the Supreme Court of Pakistan. She has also elected as Secretary General of Lahore High Court Bar Association, Rawalpindi Bench.

She is a member of Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, International Society for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect Chicago U.S.A, Human Rights society, Pakistan, Social Welfare Institutions for Children and Women and Amnesty International.

Sheikh Ashan ud Din, Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan

Mr Sheikh Ahsan ud Din is an Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan. He is a Former member of Punjab Bar Council. He remained President of District Bar Association for a continuous period of 7 years. He has served as President Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench. Moreover, he has also remained as Additional Finance Secretary Supreme Court Bar Association.

He has been regularly advising Civil Aviation Authority, National Highway Authority, National Bank of Pakistan and he has also remained as Special Public Prosecutor before Special Court for Offences and Banking.
